Language Arts

Good evening and I hope you weekend has been good so far!
Even though we had a two day week we got lots of work done. In Language Arts, we reviewed what organization means and the different words we use when we are writing things in order. We made an origami Tulip and wrote a procedure of how we made it.
We are becoming more confident readers and love to choose our books and read them to ourselves as well as to our friends.

We love to sit and read!

Langauge Arts

PROCEDURE WRITING!
Our first big genre we have been working on has been procedure writing. We are working on how to write a procedure about making different things. So far we have worked on Making Tang! Making Sandwiches with condense Milk and Sprinkles, and our most recent procedure was How to Make a paper Puppy! We have been having lots of fun discussing how to and the different things we need. While taking about procedures we introduce students to the idea of organization. We discuss how to organize our writing so that it is easy to follow and it will produce the required results.
